Alex is a partner at Blue Financial, Inc. and provides advisory services through Blue Wealth Inc. Alex is a firm believer in developing retirement plans that are driven by meaning and purpose. He and the Blue Financial, Inc. team strive to maximize the financial efficiency in your life, so you can spend less time worrying about what is next, and more time focusing on what matters most to you. He is passionate about building comprehensive financial plans through his lens as a fiduciary advisor, always putting his client’s interest above his own.
Alex obtained his degree from UNC Charlotte where he was the Conference USA Scholar Athlete of the year. Austin and Alex met as tennis opponents but found victory as doubles partners. Success did not stop on the court. They founded Blue Financial, Inc. on the pillars of trust and creating close-knit relationships. Outside of the office, he can be found adventuring & spending time with his wife Lauren!
Austin is a partner at Blue Financial, Inc. and provides advisory services through Blue Wealth Inc. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a financial concentration from North Carolina State University where he was also an All-ACC tennis player. After moving to the Queen City from Raleigh, Austin has become a loyal fan to the Hornets and Carolina Panthers while also enjoying golfing, aviation, and spending time with his wife Courtney and their dog Holly. He prioritizes quality time with family and delivers the same level of passion and dedication to his client relationships.
Austin has earned the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in addition to being a National Social Security Advisor (NSSA®). He also holds his Series 65 securities license as well as life & health insurance license. As a fiduciary advisor, he is required to avoid conflicts of interest, operate with full transparency and always do what is in the best interest of his clients.
Nate is a Financial Advisor at Blue Financial. He earned his degree in Business Administration and Economics from Roanoke College, where he also played collegiate soccer. His passion for financial planning grew from a desire to better understand and manage his own finances. As an advisor, Nate not only crafts personalized financial plans but also offers ongoing support to ensure his clients stay on track. He holds the National Social Security Advisor designation and serves as a fiduciary advisor, always prioritizing his clients' best interests. When he's not working, you can find Nate cheering on Charlotte FC or staying active on the pickleball or tennis courts.
Sara is our Client Service Specialist at Blue Financial, and she’s always ready to lend a hand. As a Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP®), she plays a crucial role in supporting both our clients and advisors. Sara’s also licensed in North Carolina as a public notary and health insurance advisor. She is happy to assist with any Medicare or notary needs upon request.
Her main goal is to make sure that new clients feel welcome and have a smooth onboarding experience. She also serves as the main point of contact for any service requests, ensuring that everything runs seamlessly.
Outside of work, Sara loves playing golf and spending quality time with her dogs, Jax and Lady.

Before joining the Blue Team Kim worked as a Special Education Teacher in Charlotte. She finds joy in helping others and looks forward to being someone you come to know and depend on.

While we prefer to meet you in-person at our office, we are equipped to meet and work with people virtually no matter where they're located!
Our office uses a video conferencing software called Zoom to conduct our virtual meetings.
Each virtual meeting is protected by a complex, unique password and we adhere to the strict security guidelines necessary to protect your privacy.
There are 3 main things that separate us from other financial advisors:
1. We are soley focused on retirement planning. Because of that, we are much more equipped to handle the uniqe needs of those approaching or entering retirement to ensure they don't run out of money or pay too much in taxes.
2. We are an independent firm. As an independent firm, we act as a fiduciary and are not tied to one specific line of investments. We always develop our plans based on the investments and strategies that are in the best interest of each client's unique situation and goals.
3. We limit the number of new clients we take on so we can deliver high-quality, personal service. We take pride in the work we do and the life-long relationships we develop with our clients.

If you're looking for someone who can beat the stock market, then we're not a good fit for you. It's impossible to time the market and that usually leads to underperformance. We only focus on the things that we can control and the risks we can plan for.
